As part of the ongoing cooperation between Film and Media Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań and the Research Institute for Music Theatre Thurnau at UBT, Prof. Mungen gave a lecture in Poznań and took part in a workshop on the 1941 propaganda film Stukas. He also researched archives in Poznań for a joint research project. An application for funds is planned with Prof. Krzysztof Kozłowski to investigate the relationship between music, theatre and politics in occupied Poland 1939–1945. The picture shows our colleague Prof. Mikołaj Jazdon and a still from the movie, depicting the war as an adventure combining it with music from Richard Wagner’s Götterdämmerung.
